is a web-based simulator developed as part of the diploma thesis of Alexandros Notas at the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
It allows users to model asteroid impact scenarios and visualize their potential effects. The simulation calculates various physical phenomena, including crater formation, airblast overpressure, wind speed, thermal radiation, seismic waves, and ejecta distribution, providing a comprehensive risk assessment tool.
Each effect is then processed for its potential vulnerability. These zones are used to model estimated casualties on global and national scales, and GDP per capita is used to provide a first estimate of the economic consequences.
To get started, define the impact parameters or use the 'Generate a NEO' button for a quick scenario. Then, select a location on the map to simulate the impact and explore its potential effects.
